1. What this policy covers

This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit Watt Weekender, use the Watt-Hour Calculator, or contact us.

2. Information we may collect

• Contact data: your email address if you email us or join our email list.
• Email list signups: if you use the signup form on the calculator page, we store your email address, the signup date, and the page name in the database of the Affiliateking AI app that hosts this site. We do not send your calculator inputs. To be removed, email us at the contact address above.
• Usage data: pages viewed, referral source, approximate location (from IP), and device/browser type, collected through Google Analytics (GA4) and our hosting provider.
• Calculator inputs: the device wattage and hours you enter are processed in your browser and are not stored by us.
• Communications: messages you send to our contact email.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data.

3. How we use information

• Answer messages you send us
• Improve content and site performance
• Comply with law and enforce terms
• Send occasional product/spec updates only if you opted in, with an unsubscribe link in every email

4. Cookies and similar tech

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to measure page views and clicks on affiliate links; Google Analytics uses cookies, and Google processes that data under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

5. Sharing

We may share data with:

• Hosting providers (Affiliateking AI and Cloudflare)
• An email service provider, if and when we offer an email list
• Affiliate networks (such as CJ Affiliate), which receive click and conversion data when you follow an affiliate link, not your email address
• Authorities when legally required

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact freedomempowering1@yahoo.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Children

Not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

9. International transfers

Watt Weekender is operated from the United States, and the service providers above may process data in the United States.
